‘Flauta’ Sideboard

The Flauta cabinet began as an exploration of texture, and settling on these on elegant fluted panels. The result is a striking piece with two doors and three drawers. The contrast between the natural oak and the darker fumed oak creates a beautiful interplay of light and shadow, with the grain catching the light in different ways—especially when touched by natural sunlight.

The real focus of the design is the fluted texture that runs across the cabinet's front, bringing a sense of movement and depth. Simple brass and oak endgrain pulls complement the form, offering subtle accents that don’t distract from the main feature.

The cabinet sits a set of chunky octagonal legs that add to the faceted nature of this piece.
