This Bristol-based commission began with a clear brief: to create a calm, neutral bedroom interior using sustainably sourced, British-grown timber. The client sought functional, fitted furniture that would bring a sense of balance and simplicity to an awkwardly shaped room, while showcasing natural materials with minimal intervention.

The main feature is a three-door fitted wardrobe, designed with full-height hanging rails and three integrated drawers. Crafted from British hardwood, the wardrobe combines clean lines with warm, tactile surfaces. To soften the presence of solid wood and bring a subtle elegance to the space, we incorporated linen detailing—adding texture and softness while maintaining the neutral palette.

On the opposite side of the room, we built two bespoke fitted chests of drawers. These were carefully designed to fit the irregular angles of the space, ensuring every inch was put to good use without compromising the overall flow. Above, two wall-hung units offer additional storage, echoing the same pared-back design language.

The result is a cohesive, restful room where form and function meet through honest materials and thoughtful design.
